Ray and his wife of 32 years, the former Terri Stewart, began attending at North Beckley when the family relocated to the Beckley area from Princeton in 2001. Ray Tilley has served N. Beckley Church as an elder since September of 2007.  His son Matthew lives in Newport News, VA, with his wife Amanda. His daughter, Leila Tilley Northrop, and her husband, Charles, are also members at N. Beckley and attend with their sons Caleb, Eli and David. Ray is a full time consulting engineer and is employed by E.L. Terry W. Cole was raised in the Church of Christ and became a Christian in 1988. He moved to Beckley in 1996 with his wife Mary and their children, Craig and Renee. He worked as a Deacon at North Beckley for about 4 years before being appointed an Elder in 2004. Terry is currently employed by Alpha Natural Resources as Chief Mining Engineer for Brooks Run Mining Co. LLC
